Faith Szumigala '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Faith Szumigala. I am a class of 2024, 5'9 setter at Pennsbury High School.  I am currently on Princeton Volleyball Clubs 17-1 National team. I have been playing volleyball (club and school) since 6th grade, always being a part of the varsity or 1's teams. Along with volleyball, I play travel softball and am a part of my schools track and field team.  On and off the court, I am there with a positive mindset, drive, and passion for the game.  I always have a goal in mind to reach at every game and practice, as well as encouraging and cheering on my teammates at all times. Many coaches of mine have told me how much of a coachable player I am, along with strong leadership skills and determination.  My drive and determination is carried through to my academics as well. As a junior, I am taking 5 honors level classes, along with 3 levels of honors German so far in high school. One main interest of mine is science, and I show this interest in the 6 science based classes I have taken throughout high school.  I value teamwork, communication, trust, encouragement, and kindness and strive to bring these qualities along with me at every practice or competition I am at. I am looking forward to being a part of a college volleyball program and finding a program that is looking for a player like me.
