Alexa Malloy '20 Recruiting Profile

     My deep passion and love for volleyball started when I was in 5^th grade and continues to grow with each new experience and opportunity. Playing volleyball has helped me to become a great leader, team mate and person on and off the court. I have gained many experiences while playing high school and club volleyball over the past years and make it a mission to continue that journey into college.

I play club volleyball as a right-side hitter and one of my greatest accomplishments has been to make it to Nationals 3 years in a row for 13s, 14s and 15s. Going to Nationals has taught me to come together with my team mates, play at a high competitive level while also having fun and enjoying the experience. In High School, I am a starter on varsity as an opposite and 6 position player.  The difference in playing time and opportunities allows me to adapt to the scenarios and do my best for my team and self.

While my passion is volleyball, I also want to be a well-rounded person and I am involved in many extracurricular activities and volunteering.

I would like to continue playing volleyball in college and know that this is a privilege. I will work hard so that I can achieve this goal.
