My name is Rachel Meyer and I am a DS/Libero for the class of 2017. I live in Aiken, South Carolina and am a senior at South Aiken High School. I was signed to play for Armstrong State University beginning in the fall of 2017, but due to a pending merger with Georgia Southern University, the future of Armstrong's athletic program is uncertain and recruits have been released to look for other playing opportunities. I am looking for a school with a competitive volleyball program and exceptional academics. I plan to major in biology or psychology and then go on to a graduate level Occupational Health program.
This past 2016 school season I was honored to serve as co-captain and starting libero for our varsity team. I led my team in digs and in serving aces and helped to lead my team to a regional championship. I led my region in total digs overall and in digs per set and was honored to be selected to represent the North in the All-Star North South game. My strong work ethic, dedication, and passion for the game will help me be an asset to any team.
My most recent video contains footage from the 2016 club season (Magnum 17 Mizuno) as well as my senior season with South Aiken.
