Jayanna Spurgeon '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jayanna Spurgeon, everyone calls me Jay. I am a Sophomore at James F. Byrnes High School. My love for volleyball started 4 years ago at rec level, then school, and club/travel level. I recently finished the high school volleyball season playing as a Middle Blocker on Varsity. This upcoming volleyball club season, I will be playing on the 16-1 team at FCA Upstate Volleyball.

While volleyball continues to challenge me on and off the court, academics is very important to me. After high school I want to study Graphic Design and Business Management. I want to attend a college and play for a volleyball program that will continue to challenge me to be a great person and player. 

Outside of volleyball I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and watching movies. I am a hard-working, dedicated, responsible, and coach-able athlete.
