Abigail Limoges '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Abigail ("Abby") Limoges.  I fell in love with volleyball in seventh grade when I started playing and have wanted to play at the collegiate level since middle school.  In the past few years, I have propelled my efforts to improve by attending local camps and trying out for a club team, MVP United in North Sioux City, South Dakota.  MVP has provided me with the opportunity to play at a higher level than my high school, and I have enjoyed playing with a group of girls that strive to be better every day on and off the court.

Over the years I have put great time and effort into this sport, and I would love to see how well of an athlete I can be in a college environrment. My volleyball IQ is quite high along with my personal awareness of the court and my hustle for the ball. I have been a Libero for my school teams these past years, and my ability to become a great leader has also improved by being on the club level.  I focus on lifting my team up after each play, whether we win or lose.  I spread my positive attitude throughout the team no matter what.

In the classroom, I strive to maintain my high GPA. I was recently inducted into the National Honor Society and put on Beresford High School's Honor Roll. My goals in volleyball include my dedication to my academics.  I am currently taking college courses to get a jump start on my future.  

I would like to attend a college that aligns with my academic and athelic goals.  I am looking to attend a college that has a pre-law program so I can follow in the footsteps of my mother.  I hope to become a great role model for my friends at home and my future friends in college.  I know there is a college out there that is right for me and my future goals, with the perks of bringing pride to my community and making my parents proud.
