Tenese Buttry '24 Recruiting Profile

I know playing volleyball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity and a dream of mine that would be a part of me for the rest of my life. I believe I'm a good fit for the DS position because I enjoy the challenges that come with it. I strive every day to be the best student-athlete that I can be. I always give 100% on and off the court, in workouts, every day through my school work, and being a good daughter, sister, and friend in general. That being said, I'm a driven and hardworking individual and I expect the same commitment from my teammates.  As a natural leader on the volleyball court, I take on many responsibilities.  I work hard each and every day, on and off the court to be a team leader and to set examples for those around me. 

I'm just as passionate about academics as I am about volleyball.
