Personal Statement

Greetings! I am grateful you have taken the opportunity to look at my profile. I have had the wonderful opportunity to start playing volleyball when I was 11. I am a 5’4 setter, yes, yes, I know what you are thinking. I am short, but I am feisty with an intense passion for this sport. People often tell me I correlate with the famous quote by William Shakespeare:“Though she be but little, she is fierce!”. Volleyball has helped me develop confidence, communication skills, team work and leadership. I hope I can continue to grow in these aspects as I potentially share my college journey with you!   • 2020 Memphis Metro Volleyball (14 EB )
  • Notes: We ran a 6'2 with me as a starting setter and playing rightside. This season was cut short due to Covid. Our coach was Teresa Thomas.
  • 2019 Memphis Metro Volleyball (13 EB )
  • Notes: I can not remember if we ran a 6'2 or a 5'1. I was the starting setter for either one. Our coach was Kim Cox for the main part of our season, but we went to Nationals ( in Orlando, Florida ) with coach Jared Marks.
  • 2018 Memphis Metro Volleyball (12 EB )
  • Notes: I started out as a setter for half of the season, but then I moved to libero for the rest. If necessary, I would be moved to outside. My coaches were Sammie and Blaine.
