Hannah Scully '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches.  My name is Hannah Scully.  I am a junior at Hume Fogg Academic Magnet High School (class of 2025) in Nashville TN, and I play for Alliance Volleyball Club. I have been playing club & school volleyball since 6th grade. I fell in love with the sport immediately. I've played nearly every position throughout my volleyball career, but my primary position now is Libero/DS. I started as a Setter, which gave me lots of touches on the ball and leveraged my strength as a left-handed athlete. During last year's club season, I played libero and discovered how much I love playing defense. My coaches say my strengths are court awareness, hustle and effort, and leadership. I have been captain for many past club teams, and I am positioned to be captain for my high school team in the fall. Last year, I received an All District Team award for Metro Nashville schools. Outside of school/club season, I also have been a coach/helper for volleyball club summer camps for children ages 5-12. This was a great opportunity for me to enhance my leadership skills on and off the court, and showcase how much I love volleyball. 

I am in my seventh year at an academic magnet schools and worked extremely hard to get there. It has not been super easy for me but I have maintained a 3.75 GPA in a nationally ranked academic high school. I am driven to continuously improve and achieve my goals. I want to be part of a college team that is always putting in 110% effort, trustworthy, and an overall family.
