I have many goals for my college experience. One is to graduate with a degree in English. Writing, along with volleyball, is my true passion. Upon graduation I would like to become either a writer or an editor of a publication or website. As for volleyball, another goal for me to compete at the highest level possible and to play for a program that will help me not only become a better volleyball player, but a better student as well. I truly believe that hard work in the gym will transfer over to the rest of my life. I am very involved in and out of school. I am involved in English National Honor Society in school, and Girl Up and K- Life outside of school. I am also in Girl Scouts and have earned my Bronze and Silver Awards and am on my way to earning the Gold Award. In other words, I am very good at time management. I believe I am a strong asset because I am willing to do anything and play through anything for the sport I love. I have played in high school play offs with a torn meniscus, I've played in club National Qualifiers with the flu, the stomach flu, altitude positioning, ankle sprains, and fractured fingers. In other words, I will do anything for team and for my sport.
