Celeste Marquez '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Celeste Marquez and I attend Del Valle High School in El Paso TX. Here at Del Valle, I am starting varsity defensive specialist, and also at Texas Performance Volleyball Club, I am a defensive specialist. Playing at the collegiate level has always been a dream of mine since I started volleyball at the age of 7. I loved watching collegiate volleyball players play on the big stage and the feeling of joy after a huge win. It inspired me to keep pursuing my volleyball career. My teammates also have shaped me into the player I am today and also coaches who have worked with me. I've always pushed myself for coaches, teammates, and my parents. I am hardworking, coachable, and always try to lift my team up. What makes me different from other teammates is I will always celebrate the little things that others might not see. I believe it helps others feel better about themselves and allow the team to keep playing their hearts out. Even though volleyball is everything to me so is my academics. Off the court, I maintain a 4.0 GPA and I am Top 10% in my class of 489.
