Victoria Smith '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tori Smith and in 2019 I will be graduating from Marcus High School. I've been playing volleyball since the second grade and I'm currently a right side/outsidehowever when needed I also play middle and  DS.  I'm a very versatile volleyball player being able to play well both on the front row and the back row; any position one could possibly put me in I'm determined to play my best. 

I have played competitively on the top team, minus one year, at Texas Image and, on the top team at my current club, No Limits. I've competed at Nationals 3 times, along with AAU my 15s year.  I've always been in the top 3% of teams in the most competitive region in Texas.

When I walk onto the court my focus is teamwork. My goal is on making myself better as well as my teammates because I know that the only way to improve our overall performance is to grow as a team rather than to grow individually. We all share the same excitement for the game and are great friends on and off the court.  For me volleyball is more of a passion than a job because I never want to leave the court once I step on;  nine years later and I still play with all the fervor I had as a kid. 

Academically, I currently have an unweighted 3.33 and a weighted 4.3 GPA. I always strive to do my best in the classroom because I know that doing well in school will allow me to attend the college or university I really want to go to. My dream is to receive academic and athletic scholarship money, so that when I graduate undergrad school I can attend medical school with limited debt.
