Personal Statement

My goal is to pay for my college education with a volleyball scholarship. I love playing volleyball and am looking forward to finding a college that fits my interests. I am a hard worker, a supportive teammate, and a respectful player. I have been described by my past coaches as talented, highly coachable, even-tempered, a quick learner and a supportive teammate.

I enjoyed my first year of high school volleyball this year after playing several years of club volleyball. I was moved from JV to the Varsity early in the season where I played outside and lettered as a freshman. I play in North Texas which is a very competitive area with lots of tough competition, but that has made my game stronger.

I am in the gifted and talented program at school and am taking several Pre-AP classes this year. I participated in National Junior Honor Society and volunteer at a local animal shelter since I enjoy being around animals.
