Randi Hunter '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior at Clear Lake High School in Houston, Texas and the starting middle on the varsity team. I also have played as an Outside and Rightside hitter.  This year, I earned the Clear Lake Varsity "Offensive Player of the Year" Award. I led the team in kills and blocks. I was also selected for All-District 1st Team, AVCA Under Armour Watch List, and Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association (GHVCA) All-Star Team. At the age of 16, I played on the Houston Stellar 18 Elite Team, as the starting middle, and we earned a bid to Junior Nationals. This year I am returning to the Houston Stellar 18 Elite team for my final club season. I love playing volleyball, because it's a great stress relief for me, and I love being part of a team.

I believe in hard work and am always striving to be the best. I am always in training… mentally and physically. During off season, you will find me taking private lessons and conditioning to improve my game. I strive to be the best person, student, athlete and teammate I can be.

A good balance between academics and athletics is very important to me. I'm looking to play for a college with great academics and competitive volleyball. A good fit for me would be playing for a college where I can be challenged and succeed on the court and in the classrooms. I am looking for the total college experience.
