Highlights from N...Personal Statement
My goal is to play Volleyball at a D1 College. I have has this dream ever since I touched my first volleyball in 3rd grade. I know that I am first judged by my size but I also know that I have to work twice as hard because of my size. When people tell me it's impossible, I want to prove them wrong!
I have the high volleyball IQ that is needed as well as the speed and quick arm swing. I am not considered tall for OH but I do have the vertical.
I am leader on and off the court. I have been team captain every year except one. I am coachable and want to do my best every time I touch the court.
Off the court, I am a leader as well. I maintain a 4.0 GPA while being a multi-sport athlete and volunteering over 100 hours of community service. I am the class President and I was also inducted into the National Honors Society.
This year for my high school volleyball team I was selected as All District MVP, Super Centex Team, and was selected by TGCA for the Allstar team.
I am looking forward to playing at the next level, becoming a stronger player and reaching new goals.
