Alayna Jackson '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'10''. I have a 9'6'' approach jump, and

a 9'2' block touch. I am very athletic  and I

am able to run either a 5:1 or a 6:2 quick

offense.  I had a passion for volleyball

since I began playing club volleyball

at 10 years old. My dream and my long term

goal is to play volleyball at the collegiate level.

During my high school career, I made the

Varsity team as a freshman. My accolades

include Team captain,  District Server

of the Year,  All-District 1st and 2nd

Team, and Offensive Player of the Year.

During my club season, I received All Texas

Team-Special Recognition three of four

consecutive years. I also was team captain

on several teams. I have strong work ethics

and I am very coachable. I am open to all

collegiate divisions. I lived in California,

Colorado, and Texas so I am open to

various geographical locations. My goal

on the volleyball team is to make a

positive impact on the team.
