Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Maria KaRynn Ramos; I live in Virginia, and I go to Briar Woods High School.
I have loved volleyball ever since I was 9 years old. I remember sitting at the edge of my couch, watching rallies go on for what felt like hours and that made me realize I wanted to be on that court and slam that ball just like the girls on TV. Although, while volleyball has been personally important to me, my studies are too. I have been able to keep up a 3.85 GPA and I am willing to do anything I can to earn service hours. Helping others is also just as important as volleyball and my studies. Hence, I want to major nursing to help as many people in need.
My heart belongs to volleyball (and maybe a little bit of Chipotle).
