Personal Statement
Being born into an Army family, I have had the privelage to move more times than the average girl. In my 16 years, I have moved 9 times, lived in 8 states, and attended 6 schools. I am no stranger to change and adapting to new things. Even though change can be difficult, one thing that remained constant was my need to find a place where I belonged, quickly, and I always found that by being a part of a team. I have been raised in a family with a strong background in faith, and the morals and character qualities I have built my life upon, as well as my life experiences as a military kid, have made me a better teammate.
Although I am fairly new to volleyball, when I moved to Virginia, I immediately discovered my passion for the sport. I am developing my skills with every practice and I have been told my coaches that I am just tapping into my potential, and that I am very coachable. I hope to further my volleyball abilities and knowledge while playing at the next level, as well as being a part of something special while representing my school.
