Victoria Hernandez '16 Recruiting Profile

I Victoria Hernandez always thought gymnastics would be my calling in the world of sports. It made me understand my body physically and mentally. Then I entered the world of volleyball which has become my love and passion. I couldn't imagine my life without it. Along with my parents and gymnastics I have learned to have the strong work ethics it takes to be a hard working libero and team player for my club and high school team. There is nothing more I would love than to use my work ethics and strong desire to meet my goals of playing collegiate volleyball and someday being a NCAA all conference defensive player. Playing volleyball has become such a huge part of my life. Performing under pressure is a part of this sport that I love. Being a captain on my club team has helped me grow as a leader and young adult. I know that I am coachable and would be a great asset to help any collegiate team in need of a libero. My desire to win, my ability to perform calmly under pressure, and my supportive nature to the team would contribute greatly. I am always willing to try new things and listen to what the coach and team have to say. Aside from sports, a high priority in my life will always be my family and my academic grades.
