My passion for volleyball developed through middle school, and it started to grow as the pandemic died down. My first ever volleyball season was school during 7th grade, and since then my love for this sport has developed more and more. Being able to play on court, communicate with my teammates, work together to overcome defeat, has always been one of my favorite places to be. Volleyball gives me a chance to step out of my comfort zone, whether it's having to communicate with others a lot more, diving for the ball as if my life depended on it, and growing more as an athlete. This sport has become a huge part of my life, and even if I'm not as skilled yet I'm willing to put in my time to become the best version of myself.
Throughout my last volleyball season, I played for Ignite Red 14's, we practiced 2 hours and 3 days a week. One of those days would be skills. which welcomed all ages of players to join practice that were in the club. It involved conditioning and working on specific positions. Being able to play in club and compete with others has brought me so much happiness and room for growth, it is definitely one of my favorite places to be.
I am an incoming freshmen at Inglemoor High this year, and I'm aiming for varsity throughout all of my years in high school. In middle school, I joined National Junior Honor Society, and after school math tutoring. I am confident I'll be able to make varsity and prove I have the potential, and that I am committed to this sport and my education.
