Keyala Krumland '26 Recruiting Profile

HELLO! My name is Keyala Krumland, which can be a mouthful so my coaches just call me Key and you can too. I’m not the tallest outside hitter at 5’7” but where I may currently lack in height I definitely make-up in hops! My power, agility, and ability to jump is what people notice about me as soon as I hit that first ball. I love surprising people with my athleticism since I don’t have that 6’ft tall stereotypical volleyball girl look. Plus, stereotypes are meant to be broken, so I’m here for it. I have been playing volleyball for 4 years and it is by far my favorite thing to do whether it’s on the court, on the grass, in the sand or heck even in the mud! I have competed and excelled in other sports such as club track, basketball, and cross country, but decided to make volleyball my main focus. Outside of sports I really enjoy creating art and recently started an online business. I would love nothing more than to continue to pursue my passion of playing volleyball at a collegiate level and cant wait to see where the game and my hard work will take me.
