I started playing volleyball in 2016 at Puyallup Juniors. During my club seasons I have played on 6 National Teams. I am currently a sophomore at Eastside Catholic. I transferred from a public school system into a private school my freshman year. Transferring to this school affords a better opportunity academically but it requires a lot of sacrifice and determination. The rigorous academics, school/sports schedule, and commute has helped me with time management which I believe will assist me in the future as a student athlete in college.
My athletic career at Eastside Catholic, I was able to play as the starting setter both years on Varsity. I have received honorable mention in both the 3A Metro All League Honors and Prep Digs C/O 2025 All State Team, and assisted my team at League and District playoffs to make it to State my freshman year. This year I received 3A Metro All League Honorable Mention and tied for Team MVP.
My strengths are my determination to touch every ball on defense, my sportsmanship and ability to get along with my teammates, and my eagerness to progress. My weakness is my soft spoken demeanor. During my free time I coach Little PJ’s at my volleyball club from ages 7 to 12 and I love baking.
Volleyball has taught me discipline, sacrifice, team work, and mental toughness. My goal is to use my volleyball skills to further my education and continue to be a better me than I was yesterday.
