Monetia Garza '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was seven years old and continuing to play through college would be a dream come true. It only took me two practices into my first season ever to fall in love with the game. Yes, many athletes say they love the game, but to me volleyball is more than just loving a sport, it is my life. If you were to ask my family, friends, or any of my teachers, they could tell you how much I love the game. When I step onto the court nothing else matters. When I play my only goal is to give my all to help my team win and I will stop at nothing to do so. I will not only bring love and laughter to your team, but I will also bring heart and dedication. As far as my educational aspirations, I would love to earn a degree in the medical field. I plan to attend a four year university and complete any additional years in order to do earn my degree. I plan on going to college right after high school no matter what, but volleyball will give me a tremendous idea on which college I would like to dedicate my time to.
