I intend to attend college to study astronomy and receive a degree above bachelors. I spend a lot of time on my education to keep my 4.0 stable. In school, I am a part of the National Honors Society, Key Club, Upward Bound, and in honors classes. Upward Bound is a program for students with big goals for college to show them the process and help guide them to the college they want. Upward Bound also helps with the education of students and encourages them for tests like the ACT and SAT. While in those school functions I am also in the NSHSS, which is the National Society of High School Scholars. This program acknowledges students from different places for their excellence in academics and can give scholarships. I have also received a college credit from George Mason University for attending the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment this past summer of 2017. The program educated students from across the U.S. and elsewhere on the environment and its occurring problems while taking us on trips and teaching us about being professional and asking the real questions.
As for volleyball I fully dedicate myself to the sport. I'm the captain of my high school team as a junior and lead as best as I can. I can be upbeat and keep spirits up on the court while also helping to correct myself and others in order to do our best in the game. I always give 100% in every game for the sole purpose of the sport. I have good communication skills, cooperate well with others, and adjust well to change. Learning new techniques and plays is also very easy because I am a quick learner and pick up on things fast. Volleyball has been a major priority to me since I started playing my sophomore year and it will continue to be well into my life.
