Jadyn Werle '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jadyn Werle a 5’4 130 lb. libero/DS. As a freshman, I started as a DS on varsity, and continue to grow to play for Kokoro Volleyball club out of MN.  

I have always immersed myself fully in the world of volleyball, whether I’m watching or playing with my best friends. My interest in volleyball started at a young age and since that day I have not stopped being involved in volleyball.  Outside of volleyball, I am very dedicated to playing softball and school, I hold an unweighted 4.0 GPA.

I believe that what you put towards your time off the court and off-season is SO significant and is much more important than what you do on the court. During this pandemic, I focused on bettering myself, by working out, eating healthy, playing volleyball, and running to keep a healthy and good lifestyle while my time off.

My ultimate goal is to get a great college education while pursuing my passion for playing college volleyball. I believe I have what it takes, and I’ll be ready to play against and with the best athletes. Volleyball has shaped me into who I am today, and without the help of my family and coaches, I wouldn’t be able to strongly say that I’m ready to continue at a higher level. 

The biggest compliment from a coach I’ve been told is that I play bigger than I am. I am one of the shortest on my high school and club team but I’m a quick, dynamic, coachable player.

I am on the 2024 freshman watch list for prep dig, as a DS/libero, along with that I have been chosen as a 2021 academic All—American for AAU Nationals!
