Ashley Kurschner '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ashley Kurschner and I am part of the class of 2024. Playing college volleyball has always been a dream of mine. I still have the sheet of paper I wrote on where I wanted to play college volleyball from four year pre-k. I’m a great leader inside and outside the court. Not only have I maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout high school, I have also managed it while being a three sport athlete.  I have also played club ball for all three during this time as well. 

I love the competition of the game and have so much passion for the sport. I’m the hardest worker in the gym and will do anything the team needs me to do to be successful. I love the defensive side of the game, the adrenaline you get from diving and having amazing saves is my favorite part of the game.  I enjoy hitting on the pins, but if I could play any position it would definitely be a libero! There is nothing better than giving your offense the best pass possible to set your setters and hitters up for success.
