My name is Maya Misky and I will be a 2027 graduate of Cuba City High School. I am currently in my third year of club volleyball. Previously, in club, I played outside hitter and consider my ability to play all around a strength. However, my freshman year of high school, our varsity had two returning outside hitters, so my coach moved me to right side, and I was able to help our team make it to state. Although we didn’t win state (lost to the eventual champion), it was this experience as well as seeing my older brother compete in Division 1 Track and Field that made me eager to work hard to improve my game to help our team have even greater success next year and also, personally, for me to compete on a collegiate level.
