I desire to continue my volleyball career at the Division 1 or Division 2 level. I am a good candidate for your team as I am instinctive, hard-working, dedicated, athletic, and a leader. I am very passionate in all that I work to accomplish, I am always looking for a challenge and strive to continue to improve no matter the work it may require. I always find great value in looking deeper into the little things that become big things that make me stand out as a player and give me the upper hand when playing against other great players. Starting as a libero as a freshman in a Division 1 school, I was always looking for ways to stand out and make myself better to continue to rise above the challenges that my competitors would throw at me and work to make the best ball out of a tough play.
I am very coachable and love getting feedback whether it is a big challenge that may take months to master or a little thing that can be changed on the spot, I will make sure that the challenge is completed, and completed well. I have always seen value in putting extra time in to get the results that will better me. It is not the work that is put in at practice that will make me stand out, it is the extra time and the extra work I am willing to put in that matters the most, and I live by that and am constantly putting in the extra work.
I am a very confident player, I thrive in tight situations and am a player that wants to be at the serving line on game point. I do not expect perfect results right away and am patient enough to trust the process and continue to work through the process to get the results I want, but realize when I have the results I want there is most definitely more to work on. I work for a great balance of having fun in the game and cheering but not too much fun where you lose focus. The power of energy and momentum in the sport of volleyball is very important in a team. Having energy leads to momentum but you need to stay focused on the little things and realize that every point counts, I do a great job of keeping a balance myself and leading my team to do the same. I am a very consistent player who will give everything I have to make a play and never give up on any ball until the whistle is blown; you can always count on me to give full effort all the time and compete fiercely.
