Misty May-Treanor is a person that has inspired me to join the volleyball world. Watching her and Kerry Walsh Jennings win their gold medals, just made me want to really dig into volleyball. Ever since then I have loved the game.

Over the years of my volleyball experience I learned patience, patience with myself, my teammates and my coaches. Teamwork and leadership are very important to me and I believe that I can bring both of those things to the table. I just have to remember, it’s not all about winning, even though we all would love to, but it doesn’t always happen. I feel like losing has taught me how to give it your all, to play till the end, and to never give up. I am looking for a school, that will let me strive in both athletics but also academics, because both of those things mean a lot to me.
