Personal Statement
Hello!
I'm Brooke Porter and I am a 6 rotation OH / DS for the Class of 2022. I've been blessed to play volleyball at a high level since I was 6 years old. As a 12 year old, my teammates and I finished in 3rd place in the Open Division at AAU Nationals. During 2019 I was named to the All Tournament Team at the Nike Presidents Day Classic and later in the season we were Champions of the JVA Midwest Challenge. In the past two years I have been selected to play for the Badger Region High Performance Team competing in Tulsa, and the USAV A1 High Performance Team competing in Fort Lauderdale. I have been honored with being selected to the Wisconsin All State and Classic 8 All Conference teams.
The past three seasons I have been chosen as Co-Captain for both my High School Varsity and Club teams. I take pride in being a captain and leading my teams through my play, energy, and support in both practice and games. I am also a member of my High School's Leadership Committee.
When choosing a college program, I'm looking for a challenging academic environment combined with a solid, high performing volleyball program with great team chemistry. I hope to earn degree in health sciences and continue to lead in the healthcare field.
