My name is Courtney Pattison. I was born and raised in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. I started playing volleyball in the fifth grade because I had a strong interest in the sport. This year I am a junior at Prairie du Chien High School. During my freshman year, I started the season on our junior varsity team. By the end of the season, I got moved up to our varsity team and was the starting setter for the end of the season. The next club season I played for Top Tier Volleyball Club on the 17’s team. During my sophomore season I was the starting setter for our high school varsity team. I played all the way around in either a 5-1 or 6-2. I received Honorable Mention All-Conference that season. Then I played for Top Tier during the club season. My junior year I was the starting setter for our team, and we played a 5-1 along with a little 6-2. I received 1st Team All-Conference this year. I would prefer to go to a school in the Midwest, but I would consider other options. I would like to go to a medium-sized school, but I am open to any other schools as well. I am willing to play volleyball at any division or level. I have learned that teamwork and communication are very important and help make a team strong. Some other factors that help a team are hard work, determination, and positively pushing each other to achieve and play their best. I believe that being able to take constructive criticism well and learn and improve from it is a huge part in becoming a better athlete. I take my academics and sports very seriously. One of my goals is to always do my best and to keep pushing myself, so I can keep improving.
