Mikayla Christiansen '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi there, my name is Mikayla Christiansen, however, most people at Star Valley High School call me Mack. I have played volleyball since the fourth grade and it has always been my favorite sport. I am a three sport athlete at my high school and play both Soccer and Basketball outside of Volleyball. I have been on Varsity since freshman year and started fully playing my junior year. It has taught me a lot of life lessons which include: commitment, hard work, team work, leadership, and so many other life changing lessons. I am also a hard working student in the classroom, I have a 3.5 GPA and look to improve that by the time I graduate. I do many other activities outside of volleyball as well. For as long as I can remember music has been a huge factor in my life and I am involved in many musical extracurricular activities. These activities include Jazz Band, Marching Band and Symphonic Band. I also hold high teen leadership roles in my church and actively participate in meetings weekly. I have learned how to balance my limited time in order to succeed in all that I do. In addition, I feel like I would be a great candidate for your team because I am a great team player and can perform well in high stress moments. I am also super coachable and am seeking to improve my abilities each day. Being part of a college volleyball team and family has always been a dream and I would love to fulfill that dream on your team.
