Kristina Papazyan '24 Recruiting Profile

I discovered water polo purely by coincidence, after attending a summer camp at my local community centre. Since then, my love and passion for the sport have grown tremendously. I played with my community club team, Calgary Seawolves, for 4 years before making the high-performance team Calgary Renegades. Water polo means the world to me. I am involved in the water polo community in many ways, such as coaching and reffing. I believe in giving back to the community that gave me the gift of playing the sport I love. I stand out with my hard work, dedication, and perseverance. No matter the situation, I always give 100% effort in anything I do, and I strive for excellence.  I am always working hard, whether it is at the pool or at school. I am an excellent student, and I have learned to balance my time and schedule well. Water polo has given me so many wonderful opportunities, and it would be an absolute honour to be able to continue playing at a higher level in post-secondary.
