Makayla Ulmer - Lutudromu '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Makayla Ulmer - Lutudromu. I have played for Team Saskatchewan (8 years), the Canadian youth national team (3 years) and now the Canadian junior national team (1 year) as an utility/attacker. This year I will once again be on  a national team which will continue to provided me with high level international experience. From 2022 to this summer I will have participated in training camps in various locations, such as Italy, Greece, Canada, and Holland. With my nation team experience I have also gotten the opportunity to play at the 2023 Youth Pan Am games in Brazil and will attend the 2024 Junior Pan Ams in El Salvador. I have also played in the 2022 world championships in Serbia for youth and with be returning to the youth championships this year in China! 

I am both physically and mentally a strong player. Who plays for the teams success  and is very coachable. I strive to be a leader both in and out the pool. I take pride in representing my province and country on a national and world level. My goal is to pursue waterpolo at a college or university level and continue to excel in the sport I love.
