Marissa Murray '22 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to become at least 1% better each day. I want to be apart of something that is bigger than just myself and I get to push my peers. I am a good candidate for your team because I push myself hard, I am a good leader, I bring a good mood, and I work to be the best. I think what makes me different from other recruits when it comes to character is my ability to be kind, compassionate, and understanding in uncomfortable situations. I will stand out academically because I am graduating in 3 years and have 36 college credits while maintaining a high GPA. Athletically I will push myself hard and work to make others around me better. I also have been in/ around wrestling with skills giving me an understanding and drive that not all have. When I started wrestling I was often the only girl at my tournaments now ten years later while in attendance at my little brothers tournament I see 100+ girls, see how much the sport has grown os amazing and something I want to be apart of for a lifetime.
