From a young age I have been competing in and practicing physical sports, like Jiu-jitsu, Boxing, and Muay-thai. I was then told by a friend who had been doing a class with me that I should try Wrestling. At first I was unsure of what to expect and what it would be like, but after a couple practices, I just wanted to go back and continue to learn more. I enjoyed the challenge of wrestling. I started wrestling many years ago and feel that it has helped to turn me into a person with a good work ethic and a mentality to never give up. I have learned to always do my best in anything in life, and try my hardest at all times in order to see positive results. I have learned that this goes for everything in life, from grades in school to helping in my community.
I am currently a member of my local FFA Chapter and compete in speaking competitions, and functions to help out in our community. I am also an active member in the NHS (National Honor Society), and my CSF (California Scholarship Federation) Club. These clubs are highly selective, and I have been able to learn a lot about responsibility and what it takes to be a leader. Through these clubs I have been able to make an impact in my community through the development of an institution of canned food drives, coat drives, toy drives, and even just simple town clean up days.
I am a very organized person and can be counted on to get something done if I say it will be done. I am a positive person and will bring a positive attitude to any place that I go. I am a very competitive person and will always try to improve myself and my skill to become the best that I can be. I will always try to elevate the people I am around, and push them to be the best they can, as well as myself. I have, and will always, enjoy the rush of hitting a new PR or winning a match, but have learned to respect failure, see it as an opportunity to improve myself, and learn from it. I also believe that there is never a perfect match, and that I can learn from any match or practice for that matter. That is why I always watch my matches after I wrestle, because I believe that there is always something to learn, and something I can do to improve myself. These traits that I possess are what makes me the person I am today; a person who would be a great addition and asset to your team.
