I am currently in the top half of my class and plan on graduating high school with achieving an academic letter to compliment my athletic Varsity letter. I intend to graduate within the top 30% of my class. For future goals I plan on attending a 4-year university or college and earn my bachelor’s degree in architectural design and/or architectural engineering. Education is very important in my family and the possibility of continuing my education and pursuing a Master’s degree is also something I've thought about. However, I know I need to take this one step at a time.
I have wrestled for all of my academic life and plan on finishing high school with a state championship under my belt. I have competed in the Colorado High school State Championships the last two years and placed 5th my Freshman year, and then 4th my Sophomore year. Wrestling has always been a part of my life and I see how wrestling can be a continuing part of my college career and future. Dreams of mine are to wrestle and be a part of the NCAA National wrestling championships and possibly place as well. I also hope to attend a college with more than academic and athletic possibilities; to be able to give service to my college or community.
I plan on using the experiences and learning opportunities from my past to help lead into my future, and give all effort possible to achieve my best in life. The discipline I have learned in wrestling transfers to many other areas in my life. Wrestling helps with forming a solid, well-developed future in which I plan on giving back to those I encounter in my future. These are my goals, dreams, and aspirations that I work for on and off the mat.
