Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Byron Shawcroft; I am currently a Junior at Centauri High School in La Jara, Colorado. I have been wrestling since I was in preschool (4 years old). Through the many years of wrestling, I have learned that wrestling is similar to life. In life, you will not always have a team alongside you. Often, it is just you and your opponent to determine who is stronger and more prepared physically and mentally. Wrestling has taught me discipline, work ethic, and respect. I am passionate about wrestling and want to pursue my goal of wrestling for a respected college.
