Diego Burga '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a Junior in High School, and this is my second year with wrestling, I began last year and immediately fell in love with the sport and everything about it. I love the mental and physical aspects of wrestling and how you can always improve yourself, not only in the sport but apply the mentality in other aspects of life. One of the things I love about wrestling is that it pushes me to always be better and improve which is what I strive to do in life. I am always looking for ways to do better and overcome obstacles in life and wrestling has helped me build this mentality, I am willing to do whatever it takes to succeed in life and in wrestling. I believe that not everyone is cut out for wrestling, but I want to prove that i am one of those few. Wrestling has helped me in a lot of different ways in life and I would love to continue to have it be a part of my life and to wrestle at the college level to have it take me even further in life.
