Personal Statement

Hey Coach,

College baseball has always been a lifelong goal of mine. What makes me a good candidate for a college team is my level of commitment.  I will do anything to help my team be successful and will represent my school with pride.  My whole life I have had the mentality that the team comes first. I tend to always get along with all my teammates and coaches, and show up to practice and games ready to work.  My work ethic is excellent and I am committed to do what it takes to keep my play competitive and strong. I take my athletics with baseball very seriously, and will make sure that I will not let down my school, my coaches, or my teammates. Academics is something I feel I can always improve on and is an extremely important part of my development. Nothing will stand between me and being able to play baseball. I will make sure to succeed in the classroom as well as succeeding on the field.
