Personal Statement
Update July 2nd, 2017
I committed to Marshall last fall, but have been completely released and I am looking to find somewhere else to continue playing for my junior and senior seasons. I pitched for Lincoln Land my Freshman season and Metropolitan Community College - Maple Woods for my sophomore season. Over the course of my Junior College career I have greatly improved, I now have my velocity to 91 on my fastball, and sit in the 88-91 range. I also feature a slider and plus change-up. Currently, I am playing for the Chillicothe Paints in the Prospect league where I have been throwing well to start the season. With being completely released I am very excited to find a new opportunity and am open to an opportunity.
UPDATE 10/20/14
Just finished up with fall ball and ended the season with a 15-3 records, winning 2 of the 4 tournaments we entered and finishing 2nd in the other two. I got 4 starts, 4 wins and pitched a total of 21 innings allowing 4 runs over those innings. I am excited to turn all of my focus to the weight room and look forward to next season and continuing my college search!
Hello, my name is Chris Robinson, I am a 6’2 180 pound right handed pitcher from Glen Carbon, Illinois. I am coming off of my junior year at Edwardsville High School. My junior season, at the varsity level at Edwardsville we advanced to the class 4A super sectional. As of next year I will be taking over a bigger role and hope to help my team get even further than last year. I am willing to come to any school that I feel is a good fit for me and I believe that I can have a positive impact right away. I am looking forward to furthering my baseball career and playing at the collegiate level.
