Personal Statement
First and foremost, my college decision centers around a desire to advance my intellect and the acquisition of knowledge. The right college fit for me would become a really amazing space for personal betterment and an introduction to adult life.
The "right college fit" would feature rigorous academics and a smaller community with a communicative environment between students and faculty members. I am looking for a school that has a strong liberal arts curriculum with an emphasis on Economics, History, Politics and Philosophy. I am also focused on preparing myself for a career and look forward to professors, coaches and counselors who can mentor me in my journey.
The icing on the cake would be a school that has a strong baseball program that I can be an integral part of. Ideally, a team with strong leadership, a well defined team culture, great team chemistry and a focus on player development. While I have been a successful high school and travel team player, college is the next level and I feel I am a player with an abundance of untapped potential.
I yearn for a program where the presence of coaches and upperclassmen allows me to improve my skill set day in and day out while being a valuable contributor to the team. My biggest strength is my competitiveness. Everything I approach is done with an eye towards being the best.
