Personal Statement
The right attitude is required to get out of bed early to hit the gym and study for classes. Winners don't sleep in and leaders don't make excuses. I want to win and I want to lead. To do those things, you have to put in the work, be better, respect your teammates and your coach. I follow the experience of Navy Seal Jocko Willink's book, "Discipline equals Freedom". It's a blueprint for success and it's been a guide for me to be the best version of myself. On the mound, it's about keeping the batter off balance, mixing pitches and reading patterns. At the plate, it's about confidence and patience. In the classroom, it's about staying on-task and killing distractions. Get the job done.
Wherever I end up after high school, I'm going to bring my best.
