Giovanni Lopez '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, im Giovanni, soccer was not my go to sport when I was younger, I got introduced to football early in my life,  and soccer got introduced to me when I was in 4th grade. A big factor that lead to me loving soccer more than any other sport was that I learned my dad was almost a professional soccer player back in Mexico, I learned many great things about him and this inspired me to achieve what he couldn't. Mentally, i pushed myself to strive for greatness, and to be the best I can be, yet i have many ways to go. Something that I see in myself that makes me different from my dad and me, is that my mentality, my toughness, and my motivation for soccer is much stronger than my dads. This is a sport that I love and something I take very seriously. I'll do whatever it takes to be a leader on and off the field. I will push myself every game, and push myself to get better in practice. I dont slack off, and when im hurt, I try to heal as fast as possible, so I can hurry and get on the field and help my teammates. I will take care of things in the class, and I just won't allow myself to let down my teammates in any possible way. 

  Through all the sweat and hard work I have put in so far in my life, i've achieved a 1st team All- District, had a second place placement in goals my sophmore year, which were nine goals, and helped my team make history my sophmore year, by making history at our school for the first time by going undefeated throughout the season and we're crowned district champs, and by making it to the second round in playoffs. This is just the beginning of achievements I will accomplish.
