Personal Statement
The 2016 season was challenging for me. The Varsity Team had returning pitchers which meant less innings for myself. My head coach asked me to play up and down so I would accumulate more innings and be able to contribute to the varsity team as a starter come playoffs.
Obviously I was disappointed but I made the most of the opportunity given to me. I had a great break out season going 7-0. My combined stats were 15 hits, 4 runs, 3 runs earned, 17 walks, 59 strikeouts, 39 I.P, and an ERA of .540. I threw 2 no-hitters and a shutout.
My current goals are to get stronger and increase my velocity. I'm looking for a school that will provide challenging opportunities on the field, in the weight room, and in the classroom. I've love the game of Baseball. However, I also have a strong desire to be the first in my family to graduate from college.
