Personal Statement
Upon my graduation from Mark Morris High school it is my mission to play college baseball. Baseball is my passion! I am a hardworking, no excuses, do whatever it takes kind of player. Coming from a family of six, and being the only boy, I know what it takes to be part of a team and to sacrifice myself for the greater good. Since the first day of tee-ball at 4 years old I knew this is what I wanted to do with my life. Through my various sports teams and life in general, I have learned nothing is ever handed to you, and only through hard work, determination, and devotion do you achieve great things. I welcome opportunities to refine my skills and learn new advanced techniques to push myself to be the best player and person I can be. I embrace any role with full force to help my team and to get me on the field. I strive to be a leader both on and off the field with my dedication to our sport and in the class room. Being a three sport athlete, I have learned to always put my team and the program first. I was also taught that school comes before any and everything, because without a good education there is no future. Overall I believe that my skills, leadership, strong academics and good family values will be a great addition to your program.
