Personal Statement
My name is Fuller Chandler. As an elementary school student, I realized a prestigious college education would be a priority for my life plan. I am academically driven and love to learn. In elementary and middle school I received a private education that instilled work ethic and discipline. Through this education, I was introduced to the study of judicial law and the justice system. I quickly developed a dream of pursuing a Law degree and was recently accepted into the Pre-Law Academy at my high school.
However, playing sports is my passion and I am a two-sport athlete. I grew up playing baseball and considered it my first love. But, when I landed the quarterback position for my junior high school I knew I found my calling. It was a perfect fit for my mental and physical talents. My dream is to combine my academic and sports excellence to be a Division I quarterback.
I am very coachable and accept critique as an opportunity to be a better player. I thrive on the leadership role of quarterback and I am ready for the responsibility the position requires. I believe in hard work and I have committed to lead a healthy lifestyle, including abstinence from alcohol and drugs. My goal is to encourage other teenagers and young athletes to abstain as well. I want to be a positive reflection of my family and community to other young people who love sports as much as I do.
