As a junior I earned a starting spot as WR in the ultra-competitive Trinity League, but a fractured collarbone caused me to miss 3/4 of the season. I worked in the weight room extremely hard to get bigger, faster and stronger. I played 7-on-7 and worked with trainer to enhance my technique (beating the press, sharpening my routes, etc.) and my speed as well. I am seeing the results so far this year. I understand the benefits of hard work and training both on and off the field. I have no issues in the classroom either, where I have maintained good grades despite being in a very academic school and carrying a tough course load.
My goal is to earn a scholarship to college in a D-1 program. I have the size, speed, strength and hands to be an asset. I not only catch everything, but I get open and I can block well as my highlights attest to. I am not a player you need to babysit and I can be a locker room leader as well.
