Personal Statement
I have played tackle football since I was 7 years old. I love everything about football...the sheer physicality that the game demands, the leadership I have developed over 11 seasons and the brotherhood that comes with playing on a team. Although I have not decided on a career path yet, going to college and getting an education is something I view as being necessary for life. I have to work hard for my grades, but I am doing everything on my end to ensure that I am accepted into a great college. I currently play on the Varsity football team at my high school. Working out and playing under many different amazing coaching staff has given me rare opportunities to play in a lot of different situations. My coaches have always expected a lot from me, knowing that I am capable and dependable. I believe that discipline and respect are requirements on and off the field. Junior Seau was a personal, family friend and my football hero. He once told me to work harder than anyone else and to stay humble. This made a huge impact me and I believe that it is something to live by. Being raised in a church has also taught me that humility and honesty are essential in life. I am enjoying high school, loving playing at a high level and look forward to one day playing at the college level!
