Personal Statement
For the past eight years I have been a two sport athlete, football and baseball. This year I decided to drop baseball and focus exclusively on football. I did this to help my team try and win a state championship as well as to help myself to be able to play college football. I am working very hard to try and achieve these goals.
Currently I attend team weight training five days a week, other weight and agility training three days a week, I also attend Don Beebe’s House of Speed and elite football academy weekly. I also plan to participate in additional wide receiver/defensive back camps before the start of the season as well as attend combines. During the summer I will also be participating in high competition level 7 on 7’s with my team such as the Red Grange and Southwest Elite 7 on 7. Last year, my team, Aurora Christian finished second in the Southwest Elite 7 on 7, held in Arkansas, where I contributed with five interceptions.
I also take pride and work hard in my academics. I have excelled in the classroom during my high school years and carry a 3.9 GPA, as well as having scored a 27 on my ACT, which I hope to improve when I retake it in April. I plan to continue performing, both academically and athletically, at the highest possible levels in college.
