Personal Statement
Ever since I remember watching football with my father, I have always had any football players dream to play in the NFL. At a young age I obviously did not know everything involved, however as I grew up and began to study I realized what it would take to get to the next level. I understand the concept of hard work. In my family school comes first, my whole life I have put school first but football has always been a close second. Over time I have developed skills such as time management that helps me accomplish my goals in the classroom as well as on the field. In the classroom I am an active listener, a leader, and put in my best effort. I always make sure I understand and I am not afraid to ask questions. I am different than most because I enjoy putting in the extra effort. I am always willing to put in extra sprints, an extra hour in the film room, or even a couple extra sets in the weight room because I believe there is always room to improve. I pride myself in being coach-able and only having to be told to do something one time. Through life I have developed the habit of never settling, I always seek new challenges to push me to the next level. I not only want to make a difference in my life, but in those around me as well. I want to be remembered and I want to make impressions on people that last a life time. I do not want to be like everyone else, I want to be my best, and continue to push myself to the best level every day.
